To help Verizon expand its retail presence, our demo bar answers the call.
Always an innovator in wireless communications, Verizon is carrying that innovative spirit into its “evolution” stores. This exciting concept offers consumers a significantly more interactive experience than in traditional phone stores.
Inside the store, consumers find unique demo areas where they can test technology, such as Bluetooth headsets. All the phones are live, so shoppers can test them – making calls or downloading music. High-definition plasma screens showcase the latest Verizon technology. All in all, it’s an exciting new concept, and L&P has been participating in its development for the past two years.
In fact, Leggett & Platt Store Fixtures Group has been working with Verizon for 10 years, and, today, L&P is the primary supplier of fixtures and display items for this exciting new retail environment.
Among the most important fixtures we provide is the Demo Bar. Bright, open, user-friendly, the Demo Bar allows customer interaction with technology while being guided by product-savvy Verizon personnel. The goal is to give customers a true sense of the look and feel of a broad range of technology and services.
L&P is proud to be participating in this groundbreaking retail design. L&P supports the work of Verizon’s Design and Merchandising Departments, as well The Gruskin Group, which has provided additional design support to Verizon.
Joe Gallo and his team in the Verizon Design Department created the Demo Bar design. L&P was instrumental in the development and execution of the final product. “We’re extremely happy with Leggett & Platt’s performance in the creation and rollout of our evolution stores,” said Linda Togno, Title, Verizon.
